Actions in France and internationally

At our French head office in Marseille, CIS France organized a collection of cigarette butts and other waste around the offices. The aim of the operation was to make collaboraors aware of the pollution generated by cigarette butts, reminding them that a single butt can pollute up to 500 liters of water. These butts were then recycled by our partner Tchao Mégots : once cleaned, they are recycled into eco-designed insulation for the building industry or textile padding. Thanks to this joint action, we have contributed to the preservation of 520,000 liters of water.

At the same time, awareness of the importance of protecting the environment was raised.
