What is the ISO 45001 standard?

ISO 45 001 is an international standard related to occupational health and safety (OHS). It was published in 2018 to replace the OHSAS 18001 standard.

ISO 45 001 provides a framework to improve the safety and health of employees, to prevent occupational accidents and diseases, and to improve overall OHS (occupational health & safety) performance.

The standard is based on a risk management approach, which involves identifying potential hazards to the health and safety of employees, assessing the risks and implementing preventive measures to reduce these risks to acceptable levels.

"We are very proud to obtain this certification, which rewards the many months of work by our teams. We are thus responding in the most transparent way to the standards demanded by our clients and prospects in the area of occupational health and safety.

Claudio Ramos Da silva, Country Manager Brazil

Our absolute priority: guaranteeing the health and safety of our teams

In addition, the CIS Group has developed several solutions to ensure the health and safety of teams in all its subsidiaries:

Health4you: to ensure a balanced diet for residents

CIS is sensitive to the effects of nutritional imbalances on health. The Group has established a nutritional assistance program called "Health4You" for its residents based on their specific needs. A nutritional color code helps users choose healthier meals.

Smartpass: to ensure the safety of residents and facilitate their life on site

The single pass with personalized access rights centralizes residents' data and combines a cashless payment system that can be used in on-site businesses (supermarket, bar, meal delivery), as well as simplified access to personal medical data in case of emergency.

"This certification is fully in line with the continuous performance plan activated by the Group. I would like to congratulate the work of our teams in Brazil who are committed to excellence with courage and dedication for the benefit of our clients.

Yannick MORILLON, Chief Executive Officer CIS Group

Virtual reality training: to improve team learning

CIS is committed to innovation and in 2022 created its own QHSE and food safety training modules in virtual reality. Employees are immersed in a virtual environment specially designed to reproduce their work environment. This allows them to experience reality in a safe and secure environment and to learn in a fun way.

Temperature tracking: to guarantee the integrity and quality of goods

Temperature tracking helps preserve optimal conditions for food preservation (e.g. cold chain) and consumption: automatic temperature monitoring using autonomous wireless sensors and a web application for real-time monitoring and alerting.

These solutions are part of the offer developed by the CIS Group, named smart4you, which aims to improve living and working conditions on site, for both residents and customers.
