CIS celebrates 10 years of activity in Burkina Faso, where the Group operates on seven sites alongside large mining groups as well as with the American Embassy.
For 10 years, the CIS subsidiary in Burkina Faso has participated in numerous initiatives to improve the daily life of children and families in the communities surrounding its operations.
Since 2015, in partnership with the Foundation of one of its clients, CIS has been involved in the construction of an orphanage to accommodate children from very popular districts of Ouagadougou, as part of an association supporting vulnerable children and women.
On June 20, 2020, this orphanage was inaugurated in the presence of the mayor of the commune, representatives of the Minister for Children, the head of the gendarmerie and the police, as well as representatives of the Foundation.
Today, the creation of this orphanage allows for the accommodation of dozens of children and its expansion is planned for 2021.
