On January 10th, 2019, in partnership with the «Grand Coeur» Foundation and at the initiative of the First Lady of Chad, Ms. Hinda Déby Itno, CIS organised a big ceremony in honor of the orphaned children of the SOS children’s village in N’djamena. CIS Communication Director and the Area Manager Africa, as well as part of CIS Tchad team were present.
It was a great success: more than 1,500 kids, guests and partners, including the Minister of Childhood and Social Welfare, representing the first lady participated to the event.
During this ceremony, the children were given school kits, as well as outfits offered through the CIS-FGC partnership.
Chadian artists performed concerts and a large meal was offered to the kids.
