WASH YOUR HANDS, SAVE LIVES
October 15 was World Handwashing Day, its main goal is to educate as many people as possible about the consequences of poor hand hygiene.
Handwashing with soap is the most effective and least costly way to prevent diarrheal diseases and pneumonia. Preventing diseases means saving lives.
To this end, CIS Chad has developed a signage highlighting the instructions for washing hands and the importance of this gesture in all the languages spoken on the camp, namely in English, French, Arabic and Chinese. This action has been widely appreciated by our client EEPCI.
The QHSE department of CNA Mauritania, in collaboration with the ISOS Clinic, facilitated an awareness session for the staff of the various departments on the interest and the method of hand washing and the contributions for health.
