The CIS Group has just won two strategic contracts with the YAMAL LNG consortium, a joint venture between the Russian Group: Novatek, the French Group: Total, the Chinese Group: CNPC and the Chinese state investment fund: Silk Road Fund.

The consortium has started the construction of one of the world’s largest and most complex LNG gas refinery units, located in northwestern Siberia, beyond the Arctic Circle. The weather conditions are extreme with temperatures up to -50 ° C in winter and heavy snowfall.

This double success focuses primarily on the renewal of a contract for the management of a remote site of  3,500 residents for which CIS has been providing laundry, cleaning and technical maintenance services for more than 8 years, integrating all technical, residential and office premises, as well as waste management.

A second contract has been regularized in parallel within the framework of the same project to manage a remote site of 3,000 residents, for which CIS provides identical services to those of the previous one, for a duration of 3 years, respectively.

These major signatures underline the Group’s strong commercial momentum in Eurasia, as well as the satisfaction of this major client regarding the quality of the services provided by the Group.

Finally, they strengthen CIS' position with the largest international players in the oil and gas sectors.

Régis Arnoux, Founder and CEO of CIS, declares: "This commercial success is based on the operational excellence of our teams deployed over the past 8 years on this project and reflects the expertise of CIS, which specializes in the management of remote sites in the most hostile and isolated environments on the planet. This materialization should allow us to broaden our range of services to this client. I would like to congratulate all of our teams who contribute every day with talent and passion to the success of the Group. "
