On June 5, the CIS Group is celebrating World Environment Day by launching a competition for environmental initiatives within its subsidiaries. This internal event aims to mobilize our teams around the theme of the environment, and to encourage creativity and innovation in the implementation of sustainable actions. We want to share this initiative with you, our customers, our partners and all our stakeholders to promote the importance of environmental responsibility.
The environmental initiatives competition
To minimize its environmental impact, the CIS Group is launching an environmental initiative competition across all its entities on World Environment Day. Teams in each country are invited to propose ideas and concrete actions in favor of the environment, to be implemented in our operations and subsidiaries. This initiative will help reinforce the Group's CSR approach and promote concrete actions in favor of the environment.
Environmental challenges and areas for action
As part of the competition, the CIS Group is encouraging its teams to tackle environmental issues such as on-site water consumption, the use of renewable energies, the reduction and recovery of plastic and organic waste, and the reduction of our carbon footprint linked to transport, logistics and food.
The best initiatives will be rewarded at an internal group event at the end of the year.
