As part of the partnership between the CIS Group and the Lycée Hôtelier de Marseille, four African chefs from the CIS Group's Algerian, Guinean and Mauritanian sites attended a one-week training course at the Lycée Hôtelier of Marseille, and obtained a diploma certifying their training.
With the aim of continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence in quality services for CIS clients, the professional trainers from the Lycée Hôtelier of Marseille monitored, trained and developed the professional skills of the chefs in training.
The teams covered the essential themes of evolving culinary techniques, including those specific to world cuisine, food safety and brigade management.
After preparing their dishes, our chefs tasted their creations, accompanied by General Management and CIS teams, who each came in their turn to congratulate and encourage them.
For more than 30 years, catering has been the core business of the CIS Group, which offers a complete range of menus at each of its sites, combining conviviality and nutritional balance, in compliance with international standards.
As a reminder, CIS Group serves almost 60 million meals a year and makes 96% of its purchases locally.
Yannick Morillon, CEO of CIS and godfather of the first edition of the sponsorship of a BTS class from the Lycée Hôtelier of Marseille declares: "We are very happy to have welcomed our teams in Marseille as part of an ongoing training programme aimed at achieving excellence in the services provided to our clients".
