From April 8 to 12, 2024, as part of the partnership between the CIS Group and the Lycée Hôtelier de Marseille, new training sessions focusing on catering, hotel management and service quality were organized.

The first edition of the "Gestionnaire de Sites" training course, orchestrated by CIS France in collaboration with the Lycée Hôtelier Régional Jean-Paul Passédat de Marseille, brought together 12 French-speaking collaborators from our countries of operation: Algeria, Mauritania, Guinea Conakry, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali and Chad. These collaborators attended courses given by accredited Lycée Hôtelier teachers, covering best practices in catering, hotel management and service quality.

Topics covered included service production and management, operational management of service production, and the fundamentals of catering and accommodation systems. Two site visits in the Marseille area were organized: a production site and a reference hotel establishment.

In the morning, our CIS Group QHSE Coordinator and nutritionist, and our Innovation Manager, presented all the resources required for effective management, such as QHSE supports, the "4A" rules (Arrival, Attitude, Approach, Attention) that each employee must respect towards clients, digital tools, innovation offers and company values. The week-long training course, held at the Lycée Hôtelier de Marseille, culminated in the award of a diploma certifying the training.

After the training, participants had the opportunity to meet up in a convivial atmosphere at the CIS Group's head office, CIS France. This enabled employees from different countries to share a moment of relaxation together, encouraging informal exchanges and strengthening the bonds between each team member.

"This training week is part of our partnership with the Lycée hôtelier de Marseille, whose BTS class we sponsor, and whom I would like to thank. This catering and accommodation module is now an integral part of our ongoing training program. Congratulations to all our collaborators who took part, and who will be able to pass on their knowledge to our sites for the benefit of our clients". Yannick Morillon, CEO of CIS Group.

We wish all participants the best of luck in their careers, and a successful application of the knowledge acquired during this training course.
