CIS Niger supports an orphanage called « Le Bon Samaritain » in Niamey, Niger. The orphanage accounts for a hundred children and adolescents. The average age is 6 years old.
On February 1, 2021, the girls' building, which housed 49 children from 0 to 10 years old, was completely destroyed by fire, due to an electrical short-circuit. The children were evacuated just in time but the girls' building suffered considerable damage (roof, electricity, plumbing, insulation, furniture).

CIS employees get mobilized and have created a solidarity fund to contribute to the renovations. The money collected will be used exclusively to help finance the renovations of the orphanage:

6,000 € = roof of the building
8,000 € = roof + painting of the building
10,000 € = roof + painting of all buildings + bedding
12,000 € = roof + painting of all buildings + bedding + sanitary

If you do want to support the orphanage and contribute to the renovations, you can make a donation before the end of April 2021 (all currencies are accepted):

CIS Niger teams have already donated mattresses and sheets to allow children to settle into a classroom, as well as school books to allow kids to continue their education. At the same time, a collection of clothes for girls, school materials, and toys has also been organized by the CIS headquarters and will be sent to Niger by the end of March.
