1. Could you tell us more about your role as HR Director in Kazakhstan?
The main role of HR Director at CAC Kazakhstan is to manage all aspects of employment relationship between Company and Employees and make sure both parties satisfy each other.
The main tasks of the HRD are to oversee the employee recruitment process, preserve the company’s human capital, supervise the performance evaluation system, assess training needs, provide decision-making support using HR indicators, and ensure compliance with legislation in human resources management.
Since I joined to CAC Kazakhstan, within 1,5 year, with the great support of the Company Management, together with HR and Operations team we have done numbers of work. In particular, we have strengthened the skills of our HR staff, as well as our recruitment processes through individual interviews. We have also reviewed our benefits and compensation programs through the New Generation program and the CAC Academy, which promotes collaboration with educational establishments.
2. What were the main challenges you encountered in managing this contract? How did you manage to overcome them?
For this contract, we had to mobilize 800 employees in a short space of time to provide plant maintenance, water treatment and waste collection.
Half of these teams came from existing business partners, and the other half were newly hired. The tricky part was having to take into account the professional backgrounds of existing skilled personnel and combine them with the newly recruited workforce.
Since the start of the mobilization process, we have attended over 350 meetings with our teams and our customer. Each meeting had to be concluded with minutes, a progress update, a statistical report and, eventually, a report to the customer.

3. How does this contract contribute to CAC’s future development?
Our core business is catering. However, our aim is to expand into facility and utility management services. In this sense, our client is a very important contract for us, which will enable us to consolidate our position in these areas.
In addition, our client has put in place a very solid performance evaluation system, which will enable us to improve our management and control of our performance. Finally, our customers’ 3 priorities are: «Safety, Quality, Reliability», and must become our own.

4. Any final words you’d like to share ?
Among of all those companies to me CAC is the one where I have been blessed to have both: strong and supportive but fair enough management and dedicated and willing to learn team. Here I win and lose, I face challenges and achievements, I can be angry and happy. I am living in this Company. CAC is my PRESENT. And I wish CAC only the BEST.
