Régis Arnoux went to the Presidency Palace for an audience with the President of the Republic of Chad Idriss Deby.
On this occasion, Régis Arnoux recalled that CIS has been established in Chad for 20 years and supports the largest oil operations in the country including those operated by ExxonMobil (EEPCI) and Glencore (PETROCHAD).
These contracts have enabled CIS to create more than a thousand jobs, particularly in the Doba basin. CIS invests heavily in the training of its Chadian employees, both in Chad and abroad.
Régis Arnoux also met the First Lady of Chad, Mrs. Hinda Déby Itno, President of the Fondation Grand Coeur, on the occasion of the three years of this Foundation. The main mission of the Foundation is to combat social inequality, encourage the pursuit of well-being and development, and promote merit and excellence. CIS Chad, in partnership with the Fondation Grand Coeur, organized a ceremony in honor of orphaned children.
CIS provided school kits and meals to the 1,400 children who were present. CIS Chad is very proud to be a partner of this Foundation and Régis Arnoux addressed his support and determination to help this Foundation to the First Lady:
