CIS supports the cultural projects promoted by the City of Marseille through its philanthropic action towards the MJ1 organisation. This organisation encourages all initiatives and projects in favor of the development of our region and promotes metropolitan excellence.
“MJ1” is a two-storey reinforced concrete hangar of 22,000 m², built in 1923 by the Eiffel Company (Marseille, La Joliette (2°), France). The management of the site was entrusted to the MJ1 organisation by the City of Marseille. The objective is to federate private and public actors of the territory organising events and quality cultural programmes (exhibitions, animations etc.) in this renovated place.
