“The commitment to support young people is an important cause for the CIS Corporate Foundation and for CIS Group. As part of its sustainable development programme, CIS has, since it was founded, taken action every day to provide children living near its operating sites with better living conditions and access to education. The CIS Corporate Foundation wishes to support youths in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region to give those with career plans, but limited material resources, a reason to believe in the future.”

Diverse profiles
The CIS Foundation mainly supports young people whose applications are referred by its partners, non-profits and social welfare organisations in the region. Anyone is eligible, regardless of the area of specialisation or the candidate’s background. Candidates present their projects to a review committee.
The committee meets once a month on average to conduct an interview and look into each applicant’s situation. “Everything is open. The heart of the programme is to take care of those around us,” says Loic Souron, Chairman of the CIS Foundation. “Everything is open. And supporting young people
For each young person selected by the CIS Corporate Foundation committee, the goal is to provide guidance and long-term support.
Each person selected by the CIS Corporate Foundation committee receives advice and support over an extended period. The Foundation provides practical assistance and is available at all times for these individuals, who may often be full of doubt. This support is valuable in helping them to navigate the period from age 18 to 25, during which they can experience family, material or financial difficulties.

Recognizing young people
Since its creation, CIS Foundation has supported more than 150 young people in the Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur region. It has helped them to overcome the obstacles and challenges they encountered on their way to academic and professional success. Many of these young people are grateful for the support they have received, and are touched by the positive impact this helping hand has had on their lives.
