A GLOBAL COMPACT

Asserted Sustainable Development Objectives

CIS Group joined the United Nations Global Compact in 2005 and shares several of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These include helping to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and enabling people to live in peace and prosperity.

In 30 years, the world has changed. CIS is adapting to these new challenges and demonstrating its resilience. Incorporating the circular economy into our practices, promoting better management of waste, water and energy resources, and protecting biodiversity and our environment are key issues for which we develop solutions to support our clients on a daily basis

SOCIAL

Being a responsible employer

As an international service company, people are at the central to our business and the key to our success. Our employees, working throughout the world, are our energy. By investing in training and skills development, we contribute to and support their personal and professional fulfilment.

Almost 60 million meals were served in 2024 across all our remote sites in strict compliance with international food safety standards. We are committed to safety for all.

We play an active role in the social and economic development of our countries of operation. For example, we prioritise local employment and local sourcing and make a positive contribution to local communities,

ENVIRONMENTAL

Reducing our carbon footprint

Reducing our impact on the environment is an integral part of our corporate responsibility.
As a service integrator, we are committed to developing our range of solutions and supporting our clients in their own efforts to reduce their carbon footprint. Innovative solutions enable us to promote low-carbon and renewable energy (methanisation, photovoltaic solar panels, etc.).

Optimising and protecting water resources, reducing and recovering organic and plastic waste, promoting the circular economy at our remote sites through innovation wherever possible, and raising the awareness of our employees, residents and clients about the impact of pollution on our environment. These are the main focuses of our commitment.

The target of reducing our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 3% per million euros of revenue, as set for 2024, is further proof of our determination to take action.

GOVERNANCE

Our values guide us

In the heart of our business model, our values are a compass to guide us in our day-to-day duties.

We continuously strengthen our ethics practices and step up our efforts to fight corruption and protect data.

We are committed to transparently managing our non-financial impacts and are determined to build a resilient and responsible business model.

NFS

Non-Financial Statement 2024

CIS Group is deeply involved in the economic and social development of the regions where it operates. Today we emphasise the tremendous importance of our commitment to protecting the environment and adopt a sustainable and responsible approach with determination. CIS Group’s Sustainable Development Policy is built on the sound, universal principles of human rights as well as strong and inspiring values that drive our teams to innovate and limit our impact on the environment. The Group-wide, collaborative approach of our sustainability policy encompasses all functions and countries through the Group CSR Committee.

Since 2023, our Head of CSR & Sustainable Development has been working closely with the Executive Management to coordinate this policy. The Audit, Risk and CSR Committee oversees the assessment of the Group’s major non-financial risks and opportunities. In 2025, we achieved several milestones in our progress towards strengthening our commitment to sustainability: emissions monitoring and commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, support for our subsidiaries through action plans, training for Board members and awareness themes for key managers.
