CIS expands into Brazil, where it will become the leader in offshore catering
CIS has set up its offices and logistics base in Macaé, one of the advantages of which is that it is located opposite the offshore oil drilling rigs for which CIS provides catering services.

From the Macaé logistics base, containers of dry and fresh foodstuffs leave once a week for the platforms of international majors and Brazil’s leading oil company Petrobras. These players are particularly demanding, given their operating constraints.
Transported from the central base to the port, the containers are then loaded onto supply-boats before being transferred to the platforms by huge cranes.
The site also boasts a workshop for the repair and maintenance of containers and certain equipment supplied on these platforms, capable of carrying out any necessary repairs on a permanent basis.
This precision logistics is essential to bringing life to the coast.
Today, CIS is the leader in offshore catering in Brazil, providing catering and accommodation services on 12 offshore platforms in the Macaé area.
