Establishment in Cameroon
Following an international request for tenders, CIS was chosen in Cameroon by the consortium made up of NGE (a French building and civil engineering group) and two Moroccan and Belgian building and civil engineering groups, to provide all catering and accommodation services for the living quarters of all personnel working on the construction site of West Africa’s largest hydroelectric dam.
The NHPC concession company for this project, called “Nachtigal”, includes EDF, the State of Cameroon and the IFC (International Finance Corporation).
When completed, this hydroelectric power plant will cover 30% of the country’s energy needs.
Located in the Yaoundé region, the dam will be the largest of its kind in West Africa.
Establishment in Congo Brazzaville
In 2021, CIS signs a new offshore contract in Pointe Noire for its client Petrofor, Perenco’s drilling subsidiary.
The services provided are catering and accommodation in offshore RIG.
This is a new challenge in a country where CIS has never operated before. This contract consolidates CIS’ position with a major client in the sub-region.
