CIS governance evolution

On January 1, 2023, CIS’s governance evolved to separate the roles of Chairman of the Board of Directors from those of Executive Management:

Régis Arnoux remains Chairman of the Board of Directors and Yannick Morillon becomes Chief Executive Officer of CIS.

In 30 years, under the leadership of its founder, Régis Arnoux, the Group has become one of the world leaders in remote site management in extreme environments.

Régis Arnoux and the CIS Board of Directors have renewed their confidence in Yannick Morillon, who, after more than three years as Deputy Chief Executive Officer, has demonstrated his managerial and commercial qualities, as well as his commitment to the Group’s values.

The Group’s new governance is a guarantee of its long-term viability, the continued existence of its independent family-owned company, and the pursuit of its strategy.

This new governance is based on loyal, solid and competent teams, on a strengthened executive committee and on a highly experienced and committed Board of Directors.

Establishment in two new countries: Côte d’Ivoire and Guinea Conakry

In 2023, CIS expanded into Guinea with the Simfer Group (whose leader is Rio Tinto, the world’s No. 1 mining group). Simandou, known as “The Iron Mountain”, is the world’s largest identified reserve of untapped iron ore, estimated at 2.4 billion tonnes.

The contract covers catering and accommodation services, as well as access control, facilities management and technical maintenance for a population expected to reach 8,000.

And in Ivory Coast, in the offshore sector. The Italian energy company SERVIZI ENERGIA ITALIA SPA (Saipem) has entrusted CIS with the supply of catering services for the FPSO Firenze vessel on the Baleine field, the largest hydrocarbon discovery in Ivory Coast to date.
