International Women’s Day, celebrated every March 8th, represents a valuable opportunity for CIS Group to highlight not only the essential contributions of our female collaborators but also the strong values that guide us daily: inclusion, diversity, and solidarity.
In 2026, this day was not only a moment of celebration but also an opportunity to strengthen our commitment to the women within our group and in the local communities where we operate. Through diverse and culturally adapted initiatives, we honored the women who contribute every day to the success of our projects while reaffirming our dedication to promoting equal opportunities throughout the year.
A unique celebration for March 8th
With 6,154 women representing 37.5% of our global workforce of 16,600 employees across 17 countries, CIS Group aimed to make this day a special occasion for all its female collaborators.
In our various locations, teams came together to organize meaningful initiatives that respected local cultural specificities. These actions helped to value our female collaborators while strengthening human connections within our teams.
Gestures of recognition and sharing
Because recognition often lies in small gestures, our teams took the time to organize moments of gratitude through flowers, personalized gifts, and festive meals. These simple yet meaningful acts created moments of conviviality, where women were honored for their essential role in the daily operations of our projects.
Initiatives for autonomy and self-confidence
As part of our commitment to women’s empowerment, practical workshops were organized, such as self-defense classes. These sessions allowed our female collaborators to build confidence and develop skills useful in both their personal and professional lives. These actions illustrate our determination to support women in all aspects of their growth.
A solidarity-focused partnership at the heart of our values
We were pleased to renew our collaboration with L’Auberge Marseillaise, a solidarity-focused association offering a safe space and reintegration opportunities for women facing hardship. CIS funded a complete meal (starter, main course, and dessert) prepared by the women at the center, with all proceeds donated to the association. This project, meaningful and socially impactful, reflects our commitment to supporting women not only within the company but also in local communities.
Recognition of traditions and local cultures
In some countries, our teams also incorporated cultural elements into their celebrations. Traditional gifts, such as local fabrics, were presented to mark this special day, respecting local traditions and valuing the cultural identities unique to each region.
These initiatives, although organized for International Women’s Day, reflect a broader and ongoing commitment to our female collaborators and women in general.

With 6,154 female collaborators, a 3.5-point increase since 2024 in the representation of women within the group, and concrete actions carried out in 17 countries, CIS continues to build an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive fully.
