of the supply chain
We attach great importance to the freshness, cleanliness and hygiene of meals throughout their journey. From production to delivery, maintaining controlled temperature conditions during food handling, storage and transport guarantees food safety and integrity. This is how we manage the entire supply chain and ensure product traceability.
Vehicles equipped for hot and cold transport
For food and dishes transported from a commissary kitchen, CIS Group uses a temperature control solution that works with an electronic chip. Transport vehicles are then equipped with thermometers calibrated to monitor hot and cold temperature limits in real time. Measurements are logged and saved. We also take steps to keep prepared dishes and the trolleys used to transport them insulated and adapted to the different hot and cold temperature requirements. This guarantees optimal quality and safety conditions.
We refer to a positive or negative cold chain because the process involves several stages: ingredient collection, storage, transport, storage, processing, packing, packaging and distribution. CIS complies with current international regulations on the best conditions for food conservation. In particular, the cold chain encompasses a set of measures and procedures to maintain exact food conservation conditions from production to consumption. This system primarily aims to minimise health risks associated with food by maintaining an adequate temperature to inhibit bacteria growth. CIS attaches great importance to this crucial process, particularly the step of refrigerated transport. The temperature required to keep food safe varies according to the type of product. Maintaining the right temperature is also essential to preserve nutritional quality.
Specially designed for food transport
We operate a fleet of specially equipped vehicles to provide the meal delivery service. These vehicles are used exclusively to transport foodstuffs to prevent any cross-contamination.
