Double solidarity action at CIS headquarters to support people in difficulty

At CIS Group, the holiday season is a precious opportunity to express our solidarity and help those who need it most. This year, our headquarters in Marseille took the initiative to lead two impactful actions.
Supporting the homeless with “Douceurs Urbaines”
In partnership with “Douceurs Urbaines”, a local association founded by former CIS employee Ellaura Boiselliah, our Marseilles teams organized a Christmas collection for the homeless of Marseilles. Thanks to the generosity of our teams, we collected 20 bags filled with essential items, including : – Warm clothing and hygiene products;
– Non-perishable foodstuffs;
– Small gifts to bring a little comfort. The donations were handed over to the “Douceurs Urbaines” association, then redistributed to the homeless on Saturday December 14 during their Christmas marauding event!
Supporting the most vulnerable with the Banque Alimentaire
Our head office teams also took part in the Grande Collecte 2024, organized by the Banque Alimentaire des Bouches-du-Rhône in November. Our employees generously contributed : – Non-perishable foodstuffs;
– Hygiene products;
– Baby supplies. These donations will be added to the 340 tonnes of food and hygiene products collected by the association, the equivalent of 680,000 meals to help people in precarious situations in the region, on the increase again this year.
A Commitment beyond borders
While these actions were initiated at our headquarters, they reflect a much broader commitment. Wherever CIS operates, our teams work tirelessly to support local populations and help them face their daily challenges. Solidarity, compassion, and generosity are at the heart of CIS’s identity. As we celebrate this festive season, we are reminded that even the smallest gestures can have a lasting impact. Locally and globally, we will continue to make a difference.
